SCRIP - LEARN TO SHOP A LITTLE
DIFFERENTLY, SAVE BIG BUCKS, AND CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR STUDENT'S BAND ACCOUNT by Denise Noble |
|
Do you grocery shop at Save Mart or Food Maxx? Are you a regular at Barnes & Noble and Borders? Do you fill up the tank at Chevron? Shell? How about that redecorating job that you're starting? Home Depot participates in Scrip too. What is Scrip? Vendors sell Foundation West certificates (Scrip) at a discount, and the foundation sells them to you at face value. Clovis West - Foundation West gets the difference, varying from 2% to 17%. A percentage of this amount will be deposited to your student's band or colorguard account to help cover costs. Shop at Food Maxx, Save Mart, Blockbuster, Best Buy, Long's Drugs, Pier One, Tower Records, Chevy's TGI Fridays, Macy*s, Gottschalk's, Old Navy and our other vendors (see Scrip form) using scrip, and you could be generating funds for our school and your student's band or colorguard account at no additional cost to you. The Scrip comes in the form of paper gift certificates or gift cards. Some of the vendors even have different denominations to choose from. Use scrip during the holidays (great for teens, teachers, grandparents, etc.), at back-to-school time, for holiday presents/stocking stuffers, on your weekly grocery run, for your next special event or team celebration. To get your Scrip:
